What We Do


Glasshouse Community Supports deliver services in a dignified way that maintains personal privacy.

Glasshouse Community Supports has policies, procedures, resources, Support Worker training and service delivery models to support Support Workers in:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of the persons personal information
  • Explaining and requesting permission to perform procedures that involve invasion of personal space, privacy or information.

Glasshouse Community Supports provides supports and services in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill.

We are committed to providing safe and quality service delivery to support positive outcomes for people living with disability. This is conducted by ensuring that we assign appropriate Support Workers, who have the required competence, to deliver the supports and services to meet the needs of people with a disability. Glasshouse Community Supports ensures adequate policies and operational procedures, resourcing, and appropriate supervision for Support Workers are in place to ensure supports and services are delivered safely and competently.

Qualified & Certified

Glasshouse Community Supports will ensure Support Workers have the necessary training, competence and qualifications for the supports and services that are delivered by:

  • Supporting Support Workers to adopt the values underpinning the NDIS including choice and control and person-centred approaches
  • Having recruitment and selection processes (including referee checks) that identify skills, experience and qualifications required by Support Workers to perform their role
  • Providing relevant training
  • Providing appropriate supervision
  • Not directing Support Workers to deliver supports and services for which they do not have the necessary training, competence and is not within the scope of their role.

Glasshouse Community Supports ensures that services provided to people with disability are consistent with professional regulatory codes.

Trust the Professionals

We ensure all compliance is up to date with industry regulations and requirements. Glasshouse Community Supports support workers hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate, National Police Check, Disability Worker Screening check, Open Drivers License, Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance, NDIS worker orientation module.

Support workers are provided with their own PPE kit, containing gloves, masks, over shoe coverings, sanitiser (*protective eye glasses and aprons - as service requires).
